Born in California and bred by Seed Junky Genetics, Wedding Cake gets its name from its creamy, vanilla aromas that evoke the icing on a wedding cake. It crosses Cherry Pie and Girl Scout Cookies to create an indica-dominant hybrid rich in resin. In 2019, Leafly named it “Strain of the Year.”
A richer profile than meets the eye
It starts off spicy and slightly peppery, followed by tangy notes reminiscent of lemon zest over a sweet base, with earthy, musky undertones. The buds are conical and very dense, blending forest green and light green, sometimes with purple hues and amber-brown pistils.
Grown indoors in Switzerland
Light, temperature, and humidity are carefully controlled from start to finish. After 8 to 9 weeks of flowering, the plant produces heavy, resinous buds, with no chemical treatments or added terpenes. What you smell when you open the bag is the plant itself.
