Triple-Filtered CBD: Sifting Taken to the Extreme
Triple filtration is the culmination of decades of advances in sifting. In the 1980s, the pollinator, a rotating drum, made it possible to separate trichomes far more efficiently than by hand. The mesh became finer, and so did the idea of filtering several times to achieve greater purity.
Three passes, three screens
The flowers pass over three screens in succession, generally 90, 60, then 45 microns. The first removes most of the plant material, the second the intermediate residues, and the third lets through only the finest resin glands. This powder is then pressed while hot, releasing a thin layer of rosin around the block.
Texture and aroma
Unctuous, slightly sticky, and supple, it has a golden-brown exterior and a lighter center when broken open. On the nose, cedar leads the way, followed by a bold pepper note and warming clove, the signature of beta-caryophyllene. In terms of cannabinoids, it contains around 21 % CBD and 23 % CBG and is made in France.
